Ode To 907 Market

This is what 907 Market looked like last time we saw it. It was incredibly heart breaking to leave this house behind. Yes it was built in the 1920's and it had all of the quirkiness of an old house... squeaky floors, crooked walls, drafty windows, etc, etc, etc.... But we put A LOT of love into it. It was our first house, it's where we had our kids. We just really liked our old house! And the love we put into it showed when someone snatched it up after only 3 days on the market. THREE DAYS!!!!

She didn't start off this beautiful though. You can read about how much work went into repainting the outside of the house here and here

The inside of the house saw major changes,  a brand new kitchen which unfortunately we have no before pics of. But the after pictures are making me miss our old kitchen so much!

The laundry room is a room I wasn't able to share the after cause we finished it right before finding out we were going to move. This room reflects my style right now more than any other room at 907 Market.

My bedroom is one of my favorite. Everything came together magically in this room

I honestly can go on and on.... every inch of that house was touched by us. Jared and Naomi's growing feet  running around will always echo through that house (not in a creepy way, just in our memories :) ).

Some people don't understand how it is that we miss it so much there when our house now is newer and needs almost no work. But to us that old house was home. And yes home is where Marc, Jared, Naomi and I are together. But even so, somehow, 907 Market will always hold a special place in our hearts and memories.
